Global Health Career Opportunities: Learning from Global Health Promotion Experts
Dr. Elvira Beracochea participated in a panel discussion entitled: Global Health Career Opportunities: Learning from Global Health Promotion Experts. The discussion was held via webinar and hosted by The Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE). The webinar took place on Thursday, December 11.
Dr. Beracochea will provided her perspective as a representative of an NGO and a person with extensive experience with international health organizations. She was joined by other panelists representing experience with United Nations organizations (PAHO and WHO), and CDC’s global health initiative.
This webinar covered key US-based and global private and public resources that are available to develop one’s career in global health education and promotion. The webinar also aimed to provide strategies to enhance professional opportunities for expanding one’s career as a health education resource to international organizations.
This webinar was another example of efforts by Dr. Beracochea to share her commitment and passion with others for trying to recruit skilled and talented people to enter the field of global health.
