In this program, you will find the answer to these questions and more. You will learn how to effectively manage public health programs and empower health professionals to meet the program’s goals and targets.
Public health is about implementing effective programs that allow people to help people stay healthy and recover their health. You will learn to apply effective public health principles to design new public health programs or improve existing ones for COVID-19 and other diseases.
Public health is a “team” sport. You will learn how to identify the strengths and skills public health managers and professionals in your team have and how to better work together effectively. You will learn how to measure if your public health program is succeed and you are truly meeting the health needs of your target population. This program will also show you how to help your team develop successful careers by finding what skills they need to develop and helping them improve their own performance.

This course is designed for national, county or provincial public health managers. This program is for you to if you are responsible for a national or provincial public health program or the health of a whole province or county. This program will benefit you if you are managing a disease control program such as malaria, TB, COVID-19, diabetes, cancer, etc.

How the program works:
A week is the perfect unit of time to begin designing or improving a public health program because the following week you can see if what you are doing is working and me adjustments. In this program, you will learn how to work differently by setting daily targets that help you achieve your monthly targets. Every day you will receive your lesson by email and an assignment for you to apply what you learned. You read the lesson, think about it, and do something with what you just learned. After completing your daily assignment, send it back to your personal coach for feedback. Every week, there will be a lesson and discussion with Dr Elvira on Zoom so you can ask all your questions and share with other students.
You will receive a certificate after you complete all assignments including a “Successful Public Health Plan”. You will get free weekly coaching for three months to implement your “Successful Public Health Plan” and advance your career as a recognized Public Health Leader!
