Program Overview:
The Global Fund is an innovative organization that has successfully empowered countries to respond to the three most important diseases of our time: AIDS, TB and Malaria. In this program, you will learn how the Global Fund functions, how Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCMs) work and how to get involved in CCMs, how the grant application and approval process works, how to kick-off grant implementation and oversee grant recipients, and how to monitor and document and report grant performance and demonstrate results.
You will also learn how to use grants to strengthen your country’s health system, how to use Wambo.org, the GF’s product purchasing platform and more. You will also learn how to access technical assistance support and make the best of consultants the Global Fund can help you contract. If you want to be a consultant for the GF grantees, this program has all the information you need as well as teach you the skills to be a successful GF consultant.

How the program works:
A week is the perfect unit of time to begin creating the efficient Global Fund (GF) Program that helps your country provides quality health care in malaria, HIV/AIDS, and/or TB. In this program, you will learn how to work differently and manage your day to apply and implement a success GF grant. Every day you will receive a lesson by email and an assignment for you to apply what you learned. You will read the lesson, think about it, and do something with what you just learned. After completing your daily assignment, you will send it back to your personal coach for feedback. Every week, there will be a lesson and discussion with Dr Elvira on Zoom so you can ask all your questions and share with other students.
You will receive a certificate after you complete all assignments including a “Grant Success Plan”. In just 7 Days this program will help you ensure your clinic is leading the way in quality healthcare in your community and can run smoothly with or without you there! You will get free weekly coaching for three months to implement your “Grant Success Plan” and advance your career as recognized efficient grant manager!
