Program Overview:
Medicines and medical supplies are essential to deliver quality healthcare. In this program, you will learn how to manage an efficient pharmacy in every health facility and how to have an efficient national logistics system in your country so you never run out of medicines again.
Who benefits
This program is designed for those that want to learn how to organize the pharmacy in a health facility, and how to dispense medicines to patients so they can understand how to take them and get better. The program also benefits those that need to learn how to manage the supply chain in their district, province and country and solve problems. You will be able to work health providers and ensure that they do not lack the medicines they need to implement maternal and child programs and all other global health programs.
What you learn
Unfortunately most medical and nursing schools do not teach logistics and pharmacy management. Patients suffer complications when treatment is interrupted due to medicine stockouts. Children die of vaccine-preventable disease due to lack of vaccines and other medical supplies. In this program, you will learn how a well managed pharmacy helps to save lives. You learn how a pharmacy in a health facility must work to do to seamlessly meet the medicine needs of all the patients the facility serves.. You will also learn how to improve and contribute to build an effective supply chain system. You will develop and be helped to implement a pharmacy improvement plan. Most students that implement their plans get results in less than three months. Below is a summary of the program content:

How the program works:
A week is the perfect unit of time to begin creating the efficient clinic or health center pharmacy that provides quality medicines. In this program, you will learn how to work differently and manage your day to achieve your pharmacy’s monthly targets. Every day you will receive a lesson by email and an assignment for you to apply what you learned. You will read the lesson, think about it, and do something with what you just learned. After completing your daily assignment, you will send it back to your personal coach for feedback. Every week, there will be a lesson and discussion with Dr Elvira on Zoom so you can ask all your questions and share with other students. Zoom sessions are recorded so you can listen to them again and keep applying what you are learning.
You will receive a certificate after you complete all assignments including a “Pharmacy Success Plan”. In just 7 Days this program will help you ensure your pharmacy is leading the way in quality pharmaceutical care in your community and can run smoothly with or without you there! You will get free weekly coaching for three months to implement your “Pharmacy Success Plan” and advance your career as recognized efficient clinic manager!
